Where have all the proofreaders gone?

This sign and others like it appear in the subway tunnels in Boston. I have seen the Westbound signs and they are correct. In those cases, saying “this is a Westbound track” is acceptable. Saying, “this is a Eastbound track” however, is not acceptable. The “A” should really be an “An”.
